Jets Edged by Dolphins, 19-17

With a mediocre game from Mark Sanchez, the Jets were narrowly defeated by the Dolphins, 19-17, at Sun Life Stadium.

Sanchez went 21 for 32 for 207 yards passing, two touchdowns and three picks. For the Dolphins, Matt Moore wound up 22 for 32 with 135 yards passing, one touchdown and two picks.

LaDainian Tomlinson ran for 56 yards on 11 carries in addition to four receptions for 23 yards. Dustin Keller was a top performer, snagging seven passes for 45 yards while adding a touchdown.

The New York defense did its part in the loss, keeping the Dolphins in check with 82 yards rushing and 128 passing while getting two interceptions. They brought down Moore for one sack.

Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall put up 50 receiving yards.
